Unfortunately the hotel has now sold out of the group rates and can no longer accept reservations. If reservations are needed, we suggest reserving a room at a nearby hotel to the Sheraton. The University of Alabama in Huntsville, Center for Space Plasma and Aeronomic Research will once again organize the 10th Annual International Astrophysics Conference scheduled for March 13-18, 2011 at the Sheraton Maui Resort Hotel on Kaanapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii.

This year is particularly special since it marks the 10th anniversary of the International Astrophysics Conference. To commemorate the occasion the meeting will encompass all aspects of the physics of the heliosphere and will include a retrospective of the major accomplishments of the past 10 years. The meeting entitled "Physics of the Heliosphere: A 10-year Retrospective" will follow the same format as before with 25-minute invited presentations punctuated by selected 40-minute talks that will explore some of the major accomplishments of the past ten years. The basic themes of the meeting are: particle acceleration in the interplanetary medium, turbulence, shock waves, interaction of the solar wind with the local interstellar medium, and energetic particle transport..
